Step
1: Discovery
When
we meet with the client we do three things, understand more about their
business, talk about their creative ideas, and go over a web site planning
worksheet. We want to walk away from the meeting understanding
the client's needs and leave them feeling comfortable that we will put
together the best site to represent their company.
Step
2: Design
After
meeting with the client, we create a detailed document of what we decided
upon, what items still need to be finalized, and any other items to
consider. In addition we put together a visual diagram of the
layout of the site, the navigation scheme and any other visual aspects
that will help convey the look and feel of the proposed site.
Step
3: Development
This
is the process of taking the design elements and turning them into a
working web site. The home page is created, additional pages are created
that will have a similar look, navigation is created to get from page
to page, and any other custom additions are created.
Step
4: Deployment
When
all of the developing is complete, the site must be deployed to the
internet for all of the world to see! This is the final process
of testing, installing, and testing again to make sure everything looks
good, is spelled correctly and is working correctly.
